The film was released in 1979 just before the accident in the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant. The accident was followed by the Chernobyl Disaster in 1986 and the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster in 2011.
Pointing out the risk of the nuclear power plants before the series of accidents in realty, the film should be highly evaluated.
