Review of The Cell (2000) by Victor C — 19 Feb 2010
I have seen many films being an amateur 'unknown' film critic but check out the following films, if you liked the cell's concept. 'Dreamscape' with Dennis Quaid 1983 and 'Brainstorm' with Natalie Wood.
Both films explore people going into the dreams and nightmares of others, very disturbing imagery. One of the best visually-trippy films is 'Altered States' about a man's quest to find 'the missing link' between man and the apes in evolution.
In his quest he actually de-evolves. Incredible special effects and visuals even though made in 1980. Great film with William Hurt.
