Review of The Cell (2000) by Matthew A — 15 Oct 2009

I remember when it was released it had a lot of hype around it but having finally watched it I was deeply unimpressed. Visually it is bizarre and thats a good thing but Lopez is awful anyway and the killer was just plain boring.

An original concept yes but executed very poorly, if this was done nowadays it would probably be more shocking but i'm not sure thats always a good thing. Damn shame as I was really looking forward to this and it let me down.
