I love this film, but I have to admit it is a bit of an acquired taste. I lived in Southern California in the early 80s and my family was in the movie industry. I have always thought this movie was a period piece showing the intimate and hilarious aspects of the changing of the guard in Hollywood that happened in the 80s.

The first third and last third of this movie are simply insane. I have watched it dozens of times and I still laugh. All that and Mary Poppin's boobies to boot, how can you miss.
