Fiel al libro, mantiene la esencia dándole toques de humor convirtiéndola en un film agridulce con una gran enseñanza, paisajes hermosos y los personajes fieles al libro, lo único reprochable fueron algunos cambios de trama que disminuyen la crudeza de la historia, pero en general buenísima.
