Review of The Business of Being Born (2008) by Tracy M — 22 Aug 2009
None of this was new information to me, but it was still interesting to have the information presented like this. The first half of the film, in particular, is a fascinating exposition on how birthing moved from home to the hospital, and why it's stayed there despite statistics that suggest home births are often medically and personally better for mother and child.
