Review of The Bucket List (2007) by Spencer L — 19 Oct 2011
If you didn't laugh and cry at the same time at the end, you are a stone cold person.
Say what you want, but this was a sweet sweet film.
A grouchy, cynical old man befriends the wise grandfather and corrupts the poor soul with a lust for life and a chance to live it up.
There are parts that are funny and others that are just silly. But it makes you realise how little you have achieved and how plainly you have lived your life.
It's not meant to change your life, but to give you a moment to question your mortality and how you would like to live and end it and it wants to warm your heart for a few days.
With two such seasoned actors you just drink in how natural they are on screen and together they are great.
It's not going to win awards, but it sure as hell made my day!
