A very original piece of work from master of the unconvential, David Cronenberg. This is an intelligent, exciting and in ways provocative horror film. Killer little children don't get much more terrifying than they are here, especially when we find out in that killer twist where they really come from.
Full of trademark Cronenberg cerebralism and gore, one of the best of his earlier films.
