Review of The Brood (1979) by A.j. A — 21 Oct 2011
The highlight of a horror movie party I went to last night, and I'm quite grateful I knew very little going into this. A well made early Cronenberg effort, it's a pretty creepy mystery that could be described by some as a slow build.
But once all is explained and revealed, I found myself ready to stand up and applaud while most others wanted to run outside for fresh air. Oh I'll remember this one for quite some time.
