One of the great war-classics of our time. Guinness gave one of the best performances of his career. The story is so captivating, you don't even notice how long it runs. British soldiers in a POW camp help build a bridge that is eventually to be destroyed by allied comandoes.
See this flick, they don't make em like this anymore.
