Review of The Brave Little Toaster (1987) by Jess F — 26 Dec 2011
I've come to the conclusion that this film has planted and still plants a hoarding-addiction seed in the subconscious minds of my generation and those to come. It teaches us to value and sympathize with outdated objects by giving them anthropomorphic qualities.
Thus, we as children learn to never get rid of old appliances and the like for fear that we're the cause of their horrific demise, or at least their spiraling depression/road to insanity. It's no wonder my room looks the way it does.
