Review of The Boy Next Door (2015) by Triston L — 29 Jan 2015
First two thirds of the movie are almost utterly useless, minues the sex scene in the beginning which even it feels all too forced of a situation, and the third act is more forgivable due to the decent cinematography.
Characters are not like this in real life, the main character prolongs this situation instead of, you know, calling the police or something, and because of her nonaction people die. There is no sympathy for these characters minus the son who has some human qualities.
Finally, this movie will most likely make back its money just because it stars Jennifer Lopez, but if you want to see it for any other reason than to look at her or Ryan Guzmen I warn you to not see it.
