Will all around unbelievable and cheesy, The Boy Next Door does have some interesting parts. Jennifer Lopez rises to the occasion as a separated mother feeling a bit lonely. As her husband (John Corbett), tries to win her back, a new boy (Ryan Guzman) moves in next door.
At first, she only sees the good and handsome side of him (gratuitous ab shot anyone?). But then the bad side comes out after the deed had been done. The lines are cheesy and Lopez's reactions to the boy's antics are the reason to watch this film that is obviously looking for more laughs then screams.
