Review of The Boxer (1997) by Robert B — 18 Jan 2010
Solid movie from DDL and Jim Sheridan. I got this movie soley because of DDL. However, I was pleased to discover that not only is this movie good because of the lead actor, but also because Sheridan is a great and underated director plus this movie has a good storyline.
The combination of DDL's acting and Sheridan's directing really make this little known movie work.
