Review of The Boxer (1997) by Augustine H — 01 Sep 2013
With Jim Sheridan, Daniel Day-Lewis and Emily Watson in a film about IRA, it naturally holds my high regards. Unfortunately, the film concentrated the other side of hatred again, making the film highly clichéd despite great performances from the leading cast.
Way predictable and monotonous than Sheridan's previous work In the Name of the Father.
