I can see what people wanted to like about this movie, but it's an empty hole. Too much cartoon instead of character. It's a rare gift to write and direct well, carefully blending story with just bits you like, rather than having someone tell you what's not working.

Look at the number of different genres this film is classified in to get an idea of why it's a mess.
