Review of The Boondock Saints (1999) by Melvinm. — 23 Oct 2005
It is absurd that a film of this magnitiude and stature is given a mere 44 as an average critics rating. Not only does this movie blur the conventional ethics on vigilante violence, it also redefines the manner in which films are directed.
The beauty in the direction gun-fight scenes are of no equal to this very day. I scorn the critics and their wordy renunciations of films purely based on directoral history and commonplace ethical judgements, for once I would like a film to be reviewed on merit; a merit in the Boondock Saints that can be considered nothing but purely Revolutionay.
