A rather gorgeous animated film set in the world of Mexican folklore.
Manolo is a conflicted hero who is set on an epic quest through magical realms to find his one true love Maria and defend his town from marauding bandits.
The story is a pretty simple one, but the script has great comic timing and the punchy vocal performances do it great justice.
A sumptuous visual feast and a fun ride to be had.
