Wonderful animation and art design. It's very pleasing to look at. The story is something I've never seen the likes of, and it's always nice to see aspects of other culture, so I enjoyed the ride.
That being said, there are a TON of by-the-numbers story elements and it moves too fast; with the amount events that happen on screen, having less than 90 minutes before credits roll was a serious detriment.
I might rewatch it at some point.
