Review of The Book of Henry (2017) by Sam S — 12 Jul 2017
The movie is much better than conventional critics give it credit for. The movie does not follow the classic three act structure. Rather, the story unfolds more like a suspense novel, with twists and shifts in tone and focus.
The character arcs are well defined and the movie deals with significant and meaningful social issues. This is *not* a children's movie; it grapples with serious adult themes. I enjoyed the movie and found it thought provoking.
