Review of The Book of Henry (2017) by Arlan A — 17 Jun 2017
Once again critics 25% reviews are out of touch from the audiences 75% opinions. This movie was absolutely fantastic. It was a combination of absurdist/surreal/whimsical, action, adventure, comedy, crime, drama, magical realism, mystery, paranoid, philosophical, romance, thriller, satire, etc.
etc. It's enjoyable for children as well as adults allowing individuals hope that life & death are interchangeably good. An inspirational movie where good overcomes evil. This was the most unusual pleasantly surprising movie I've seen in years.
KudOs to this director & hopefully will be nominated for numerous potential awards. It seems critics poor ratings certainly have an agenda not appreciative of this director bringing different subject matter to the big screen where all customers who have seen it, very much enjoyed it with moments of tear from emotional enjoyment & support of the characters.
