Review of The Book of Eli (2010) by Mike S — 16 Mar 2012
A nice, tight bleak little film that has a number of nice twists. The film does suffer from some questionable logic, such as how people can have such nice hair in a world where for thirty years there hasn't been any shampoo. There also appears to be an awful lot of designer jeans in perfect condition...
A nice twist to the whole thing, and Denzel is in great form, as is the ever delightful (and over the top) Gary Oldman.
