Review of The Body Snatcher (1945) by Cary M — 22 Mar 2008
I am not a horror fan, but am continuing to explore Val Lewton productions. I've liked other ones better, but this one is full of genuine psychology. I especially enjoyed Henry Daniell's sourness in his performance and Karloff does play a psychological heavy with aplomb.
Doesn't have to be sought out, but was enjoyable as a second feature on the same disc after "I Walked with a Zombie.".
