Review of The Blue Dahlia (1946) by Raelene S — 14 Feb 2008
A very dark movie - thematically speaking. not the best noir out there but good one all the same. funny to see hugh beaumont (of "leave it to beaver" fame) here as friend and lawyer just back from the war.
this film touches on a lot of issues: veterans with mental disorders, domestic abuse, alcoholism, and a host of other darker elements of human nature.
