Review of The Blue Dahlia (1946) by Devon B — 28 Mar 2012
Bleak, gritty, pessimistic, with an excellent script by Chandler. Three Returning soldiers (one with a plate in his head) see an America spoiled by corruption and decadence, one of them finds his wife with another man, she is then murdered and he must fight to clear his name.
Taught, well balanced thriller.
