Review of The Blue Angel (1930) by Eliska K — 18 Jul 2007

At first I thought it to be some kind of a romantic comedy (note: that's the genre I hate the most) cos the beggining really was quite boring. I thought, at least I see the culture of the era, that's always something interesting.

.. buuuuuut the end was unbelievable, so thrilling!!!!! You know the feeling like you just can't stop staring at the screen, you hear your heart beat, you're shaking and wondering what the hell's gonna happen? Well, that was it!! It doesn't happen that often to me, though.

I would never guess it from the beggining! It starts so sweetly, easily... and then comes the tragical end... so great!!!
