Review of The Blob (1988) by Bill B — 29 Aug 2011
I was surprised to realize that I had never seen this '80s re-make of the '50s classic monster film, and can happily say that it was well worth my time. Filled with some nice splattery gore and practical effects, it manages to feel like an homage to the original as well as a nice update to the material.
Plus there's the fun of Shawnee Smith's '80s hair.
Well worth tracking down, give it a look.
