Review of The Blob (1988) by Hobie P — 09 Feb 2012
I hold this movie close to my heart. It is one of my two favorite monster movies of all time. This is prime example of a genre remake that surpasses it's original by leaps and bounds! The setting feels like home and the characters are nicely fleshed out.
Many characters you meet eventually become blob-snacks as director Russell and screenwriter Darabont keep the fun rolling at a nice pace. Highly recommended :).
