The Bling Ring is a purposely vapid movie about vapid people and culture. It lacks deep emotions and dialogue... But that's exactly the point, isn't it. How do you go about scoring a film that is all style and no substance but is so to enforce an ironic (and well made) point about society? This movie messes with my intellect.
