Review of The Bling Ring (2013) by Terri C — 17 Jun 2014
Despite the interesting real-life plot, the execution is too unfocused and shallow to get any real insight into the characters or the crimes committed. Glossing over some of the more pressing parts of the story (like the court case for one), while making us watch a number of seemingly inconsequential scenes (such as Marc dancing in front of the camera for 3 mins straight), left the whole movie feeling disjointed and unfinished.
It barely scratched the surface.
