Review of The Black Stallion (1979) by Shane H — 18 Aug 2007
This movie didn't seem very magical to me. I must have expected too much or something because it didn't reach the greatness that I had heard it possessed. The dull acting by everybody except for Mickey Rooney made it hard for me to care much for the story.
To it's credit, it was peaceful enough that it made me fall asleep so I had to go back and pick up where I had left off. The final race was also exquisite.
