Watched this classic with our sick daughter. Not much dialogue and slow for modern standards, but it is a great cinematic experience. If you get a chance, pull this movie out and watch it again. There is something endearing about the fact that the kid cannot act, but it gives the film a rawness that makes it work.
Mickey Rooney is great! I would put this in a classic category.
