Review of The Black Pirate (1926) by Lori S — 07 Feb 2009
I liked Douglas Fairbanks' stunts and the old pirate with one arm who props himself up with swords/daggers to stay awake. I liked when Fairbanks picked up his sword with his foot and other odd things like that which were influences on The Princess Bride (best movie ever!) It's not really fair to rate this film compared to action films today; nonetheless, I must.
