Review of The Bishop's Wife (1947) by Diane J — 01 Jan 2009
Cary Grant as an angel is his usual charming self. And all the women in this movie seem to be swooning over him, not because of his magical angel powers, just his magical Cary Grant powers. David Niven doesn't get to do much other than be glum and, later, jealous.
But it's the kind of movie that makes you feel good at Christmastime.
