Review of The Bishop's Wife (1947) by Kevin M. W — 15 Apr 2015
A light Christmas tale in the vein of It's a Wonderful Life, this movie is about a guardian angel who is sent down to help a bishop who has lost the real meaning of family. Grant plays the role rather aloof and the movie is fine, but I feel if they went with the original swapped roles of Angel/Bishop, it might have been a much different movie.
Either way its enjoyable.
