I can respect the fact that it was the most advanced film of it's time but HOLY SHI was it hard to watch. It was just vile and offensive. Never in my life have I seen such a racist piece of shit. I am a filmmajor and I should respect it but I can't.

I can't overlook the message Griffith had in here. He did have good shots I suppose but the fact that the content was an opinion that an uneducated red neck would have just distracts me from it. I think it should just be put into the vault it's a disgusting movie.
