Review of The Birth of a Nation (1915) by Christopher S — 13 Mar 2013
Extremely racist and ultimately boring and uninteresting, The Birth of a Nation glorifies violence and oppression of minorities, while sugarcoating the story with a needless romance. This romance is only used to draw attention away of its true purpose, and the film is an example of how some films cannot withstand the test of time.
