This has to be the best film about the financial crisis I have seen. I really enjoyed margin call but believe the big short was just an overall better film. The cast and acting are what make this. Everyone's performance in it was outstanding especially Steve Carrel.
Steve has transitioned from being a silly dumb movie actor to two straight roles (Foxcatcher) (the big short) that are deserving of an Oscar. This movie breaks it down for you by the narrative of Ryan Gosling.
They throw a lot of information at you and it requires a lot of attention. Definitely a movie you can watch again and catch new things. One of the best from this past year!
