Review of The Big Red One (1980) by Bill T — 19 Jan 2011
Fairly meandering movie about a unit going through the motions of the War. No real plot, just the unit going into one battle after another, learning something about how War is Bad, and then moving on. Lee Marvin is tough as balls as usual, and Mark Hamill is funny to look at outside of Star Wars.
Also contains the guy who played Putsie in Grease, not that you're looking out for that sort of thing.
