A great B-movie film-noir with some very entertaining performances and great visuals from john Alton. Even though it's from the 50s there are quite a few moments of violence or sexuality that are pretty frank and tense.
the stry is good, but the mood, I felt, topped it, esspecially the atmospheric ending.
