Review of The Big Chill (1983) by Jane H — 19 Apr 2008
Dated but I still love this film. A group of college friends who meet after 20 years at one of the friends funeral. It doesn't dwell too much but shows a picture of all the characters and where they are in life.
From the successful married couple to the bored housewife and mother married to Mr Safe, the successful actor famous for his tv series, the journalist working for a gossip magazine, successful attorney and the scarred Vietnam veteran who self medicates.
Excellent all star cast and all equal, no upstaging.
