Review of The Big Chill (1983) by Tim E — 19 Aug 2014
At first it's irritating - on its quest to process the tragedy of suicide, it seems to play lightly with such a serious subject. Further on in the movie, it becomes easier to grapple with the tough issues as the characters buckle down and try to talk through things as well.
The "old college group" becomes infectious, and by the credits you don't really want to have to leave the big house, either.
