One of my all time favourite films. An intense study in lonliness, obsession Mediterranean family and friendship, with some wonderful, comic moments. Makes me want to go on a warm, seaside holiday, dive in and see what's there.
And Eric Serra's hypnotic, evocative music fits it perfectly.
