Luc Besson followed Subway with his first English speaking film The Big Blue. A simple story of one man's obsession with the sea is transformed by spectular cinematography and an engaging performance by Jean Reno. One to watch at an arthouse cinema or with the lights turned out in your living room in order to deliver the full serene viewing experience.
Favourite Quote - "You go down to the bottom of the sea, where the water isn't even blue anymore, where the sky is only a memory, and you float there, in the silence. And you stay there, and you decide, that you'll die for them.".
