Money makes people do bad things. One could say that it is The Root Of All Evil. This is not an original message, and neither will this drama dazzle you with its originalality. It is however, a very enjoyable film, largely due to the quality of acting on display.

I really felt for the stockbroker character, even though his downfall was quite predictable. The Sydney setting cannily helps to make the viewer feel like they are wallowing in the protagonists lavish lifestyle in spite of the films low budget.
