Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Ruth P — 23 Dec 2007
Quite simply one of the best screen portrayals of humanity I have ever seen. The characters are real, believable. Their struggles are universal. Plus, "Homer" is played by an actor who was disabled during WWII, and won an Oscar for this movie, making him the first disabled actor to recieve an Oscar.
This is easily one of the five best movies ever made. A must see!
