Saw the pre screen and I most say after reading the reviews out there I was skeptical. But aside from a couple cheesy lines and acting at times (mostly from the younger actors). It was full of shocks and twists and a gut wrenching story.
A tear jerker for myself and even my movie date (a male). Tugs at the heart strings and makes you wish that the ending wasn't going to be what it was. Another great story by Nicholas Sparks taken to the big screen.
Maybe it was because I was long overdue for a romantic tear jerker movie but I did end up enjoying it and shedding a few tears in the process.
