No one expects a Nicholas Sparks movie to contain much substance, but this movie is a romantic guilty pleasure. I hate the book so much I threw it and swore never to read another Sparks book. But the movie is better than the book (less corny).
James Marsden is hot, Michelle Monaghan is down to earth, and the movie has some very visually appealing scenes.
