Review of The Bells of St. Mary's (1945) by Travis H — 24 Nov 2004
A warm story about a school run by nuns and about it's fight to stay alive, as well as a story about the relationship of Father O'Malley (Bing Crosby) and Sister Benedict (Ingrid Bergman). Both turn in terrific performances. The movie itself is almost epic in feel because of its dedication to story and to the school. Another good holiday film.
