An absolute suspense thriller.a bigoted anti communist racist captain,(widmark) the peacemaker (sidney poitier) and a nervy seaman (danno of hawaii five o) who is tormented throughout the whole film and in his traumatised mental state,mishears widmarks orders and fires the ASROC.
